On Saturday 25th November Emily attended the Housing Summit organised by Homes For All and Axe The Housing Act.
During the day there was a variety of workshops to choose from, led by Grenfell campaigners, Matt Wrack FBU, Generation Rent private renters, housing association and council tenant campaigns, ACORN, Cris Claridge of Southwark Tenants, Paula Peters of Disabled People Against Cuts and others. Workshops included Grenfell and fire safety, Stop Demolition, Universal Credit and benefit cuts, action for private renters, mental health and housing and more.
Each workshop was asked to agree on an action point to bring back to the conference floor. These action points are published by Axe The Housing Act and detailed below.
